Large sinkhole in Downtown Cleveland was caused by water main break

There is a fairly large hole in ground in the middle of St. Clair Avenue in Downtown Cleveland. The sinkhole revealed itself in March 2023.

On Monday, March 20, 2023, the Cleveland division of police will have traffic controllers and police officers in the area to direct traffic during rush hour, delays are expected. Officials are unsure about how long it will take to fix the road.
